It’s time to organise the 2006 camp!
The next Saving Iceland gathering will take place over the weekend of the 21st – 23rd April in Norfolk, UK . It’ll be a great time to find out more and to meet some of the (lovely) people involved with the campaign, as well as to help discuss what this Summer’s protest camp will look like. We will be introducing the Saving Iceland campaign on friday evening and then will get on with organising the campaign and camp itself on saturday and sunday.
We are hosting it in a beautiful rural setting not far from the sea, in North Norfolk. There is a camping area and limited inside sleeping space. Fresh vegan food will be provided but we need to know how many we are catering for soon, so please contact us and tell us you’re coming.
We will be running a bar serving local beer with the proceeds going to Saving Iceland and there is Saturday night fun! A local Norwich housing co-op is having it’s annual party with a fancy dress theme ‘five’ (it’s five years old!) and everyone is welcome. They hold cracking parties!!
